a gas range problem

a gas range problem i see regularly is, the ignitor lights up you can see the gowing from the bottom but the control only goes up to 100 degrees which is not hot enough to cook anything, this is usually a defective or weak ignitor, ( always disconnect the appliance from the power source before attempt to do any repair).
